The Power of Holding Hands

I was sitting on a beach one summer day, watching two children, a boy and a girl, playing in the sand.

They were hard at work building an elaborates and castle by the water's edge with gates and towers and moats and internal passages. Just when they had nearly finished their project, a big wave came along and knocked it down, reducing it to aheap of wet sand.

I expected the children to burst into tears, devastated by what had happened to all their hardwork. But they surprised me. Instead, they ran up the shore away from the water, laughing and holding hands, and sat down to build another castle.I realized that they had taught me an important lesson. All the things in our lives, all the complicated structures we spend so much time and energy creating, are built on sand.

Only our relationships to other people endure. Sooner or later, the wave will come along and knock down what we have worked so hard to build up. When that happens, only the person who has somebody's hand to hold will be able to laugh.

Happy Birthday Grandma

Today on September 11, 2005 is my Grandma birthday. I called home to say happy belated birthday to my grandma, but no one answer the phone. Then I sms my dad cellphone. My dad reply my sms saying that they were having a dinner with my uncle to celebrate my grandma birthday. Then half an hour later, my dad sms me again saying that I can call home now. Then I call to indo. The phone were contacting the number. Then suddenly somebody pick up the phone, "hallo" and it was my grandma's voice. Hehehhe it's good to hear my grandma voice again on the phone. Then I have a good time talking with my grandma over the phone. My grandma was really miss me and my sister. Then I told her, when I graduated from here next year, she should come. Hehehe I really want to see my grandma. I miss her food and the time I spend with her back home, watching a telenovela together. Hehehehe I like telenovela too. I miss my parents, my grandma and everyone. But one think I learn, meskipun my parents is not here with me, He always here with me. Day by day when I close my eyes at night and open my eyes in the morning, nothing is the same. He gave me the strength and peace in walking a new day. Meskipun aku banyak tugas yang perlu aku kerjakan di semester ini, ku tahu bahwa aku tak akan sendirian. Ku tahu Tuhan ada disampingku. Dia lah batu sandaran-ku dalam hidupku ini. Tanpa Dia hidupku tidak ada artinya. Semua itu berawal dari Dia and berakhir dari Dia juga.

I'm precious in His eyes. He loves me more than the world can give. He gave me comfort, strength, peace and joy each day. Each day is a brand new day. Never be the same. My life will never be the same without Him, I need Him each day. Do I love Him? Do you all loves Him? That's always the question we need to ask to our self. Do you loves Him? I was singing this wonderful song that really give me strength when I'm down. I hope it will bless others.
